Teddy

Teddy joined the Cedar Rise family on July 1st, 2016, alongside his companion Ava. This handsome black cat is the heart and soul of the household — a cat with opinions, a big personality, and an unshakeable bond with his favorite human.

The Big Personality

Teddy is not a cat who fades into the background. With an impressive vocabulary of meows, chirps, and trills, he believes strongly in the power of communication. Morning greetings, dinner requests, commentary on the weather — Teddy has something to say about everything.

A Special Bond

While Teddy loves the whole family, he has formed a particularly close bond with his female human companion. He’s her shadow, her confidant, and her most devoted lap warmer. When she’s home, you’ll find Teddy nearby.

Adjusting to Change

The arrival of Helly and Jame in 2025 required some adjustment. Teddy remains cautiously suspicious of these newcomers, preferring the company of his lifelong companion Ava. Change comes slowly for this creature of habit, but he’s learning to share his kingdom — one skeptical glance at a time.
