About Cedar Rise

Cedar Rise is our home in the Pacific Northwest, named for the magnificent grove of Western Red Cedars that towers over the property. These ancient trees, some reaching over 100 feet into the sky, create a cathedral-like atmosphere that defines the character of this special place.

The Property

Set among the towering cedars stands an equally impressive Big Leaf Maple, its spreading canopy providing shade in summer and a golden carpet of leaves each fall. Together, these trees create a diverse habitat that attracts an ever-changing cast of wildlife visitors.

The Residents

Cedar Rise is home to five cats: Jame, Helly, Ava, and Teddy live indoors, while Lady Friend — our beloved outdoor cat — has made the property part of her territory. Each has their own personality and favorite spots around the house and grounds.

The Visitors

Living among the trees means sharing space with all manner of wildlife. Deer families visit regularly to graze in the meadow at dawn and dusk. Raccoons make their rounds at night. And throughout the year, we're visited by countless other creatures who call the Pacific Northwest home.
